Echo Show 11 review of the graphite 11-inch display: Full HD screen, spatial audio, and a built-in hub. Skip it if a Show 8 already fits the counter.
Echo Show 11 review, short version: buy the graphite 11-inch if the kitchen needs a screen you can read from the stove, and you are seeing it at $149.99. Skip it if you only want timers, music, and a weather report. The Echo Show 8 on the same listing is $124.99 and does that without taking as much counter.
List price is $249.99. At $149.99 it is 40% off, marked Amazon’s Choice, and 10K+ bought in a recent month. Buyers have it at 4.3 out of 5 from about 8,100 ratings. The box is the Show 11, a 30W power adapter, and a quick start guide. Warranty is one year. Trade-in can take another 20% off if Amazon still likes the device you send in.
TechForOwners verdict: 8/10 at $150. A good counter display for recipes, cameras, and calls. Hard to justify at $250 if a Show 8 in the house still answers.

What the bigger screen is for
Amazon says the 11-inch panel has 60% more viewing area than the Echo Show 8 from the 2025 release. That is the whole product. A recipe with a photo, a doorbell clip, or a calendar is readable from a step back. On an 8-inch Show you walk over.
It does not rotate to follow you, unlike the older Show 10. You pick the angle when you set it down. Kitchens want it facing the person cooking, not the refrigerator. A desk wants it just off center so it is not staring into a video call the entire workday.
The home screen can run a photo slideshow when nobody is asking it anything. Useful if this is replacing a digital frame. Annoying if the counter is already cluttered and the screen never sleeps. Adaptive brightness is there. Turn the slideshow off if you wanted a clock.

Sound
One 2.8-inch woofer and two full-range drivers. Amazon claims spatial audio, clearer vocals, a wider stage, and up to twice the bass of the Echo Show 8 from 2023. In a kitchen it is enough for a podcast or a show while you cook. In a living room it is still a smart display, not a speaker you bought for music. Pair a Bluetooth speaker if the room is large. Bluetooth 5.4 is supported. Speakers that demand a PIN are not.
Alexa+, and what you are actually paying for
This model is designed for Alexa+. Best Buy’s listing says Alexa+ is free with Prime, and that a Prime membership or an Alexa+ Standard subscription is required to use Alexa+ on compatible devices. The newer help, recipe suggestions, photo search, and reservation-style tasks sit in that tier.
Classic Alexa still does the daily work without it: timers, lists, alarms, smart-home commands, and music you already pay for. Do not buy the 11-inch only for Alexa+ if nobody in the house has Prime. Check the current Alexa+ terms before you count on a feature from the box copy.
Smart home
The built-in hub speaks Zigbee, Matter, and Thread. Bulbs, plugs, and sensors that use those can join without a second hub. Presence detection, the temperature sensor, and visual ID can trigger routines, which is the Omnisense pitch. It is useful if the house is already on Alexa. It is a weak reason to switch if everything you own is HomeKit or SmartThings and you like it that way.
Camera feeds from Ring, Blink, and other Alexa cameras show on the display. That is the practical win. A doorbell press you can see without pulling out a phone. Amazon Sidewalk is on unless you have already turned it off. It uses a slice of your bandwidth to help keep compatible devices connected. Turn it off in the Alexa app if you do not want that.
Camera and calls
The 13 MP camera auto-frames and zooms up to 3.3x. Calls look less like a security cam than they did on older Shows, as long as the kitchen light is decent. There is a hardware button to disable the microphones and camera, plus in-app camera controls. Use the button when the device is in a bedroom. Live view can also check the room while you are out, which is the other side of that camera. Know it is there.
Show 11 or Show 8?
| Echo Show 11 | Echo Show 8 | |
|---|---|---|
| Sale price | $149.99 | $124.99 |
| List | $249.99 | $199.99 |
| Screen | 11-inch Full HD | 8-inch |
| Best spot | Kitchen, family desk | Nightstand, small counter |
| Why pay more | Recipes, calls, camera feeds | You would not |
Pay the extra $25 if someone will read from it. Save it if the spot is a bedroom and the screen is a clock with a speaker. Bundles with a Blink or Ring camera only make sense if you needed that camera anyway. Device-only is the clean deal.
Who it is for
Buy the graphite Show 11 at this sale price for a kitchen or a shared desk. The rating and the sales volume fit a product people leave plugged in.
Skip it at $249.99 if your current Show still works. Skip it if you wanted a tablet you can carry, a set of privacy-free microphones, or a display that runs Apple Home. Skip it as a music system. And skip it for a shop or a covered porch. This is an indoor counter device with a camera.
FAQ
Does the Echo Show 11 need Prime? No, for basic Alexa. Alexa+ needs Prime or an Alexa+ Standard plan, according to Amazon’s retail listing.
Is the battery included? There is no battery. It ships with a 30W power adapter. It stays plugged in.
Can it replace a smart-home hub? For Zigbee, Matter, and Thread devices, yes. It will not run a HomeKit house.
Does the screen follow you? No. Unlike the Show 10, you set the angle yourself.
Is $149.99 a real discount? List is $249.99, so the cut is 40% on Amazon’s own price. It is a good buy at $150. It is an ordinary buy at full list if you already own a Show 8.
Price, Prime perks, and Alexa+ terms move. Sidewalk and the camera can be switched off.
